Good manners in Islam

Actually, in islam there are many good manners that we can follow. We learn good manners mainly from the Qur'an and Sunnah. For example:

Greeting in Salaam 

Quranic Reference: "And when you are greeted with a greeting, greet in return with what is better than it or at least return it equally." [Quran 4:86]

Sunnah: "When you meet one another, greet with a greeting from Allah, blessed and good." [Sunan Abu Dawood, Book 43, Hadith 5178]

Even a greeting of Muslim can change to good deed.

Being humble

The next one is being a humble person to other people all the time, it is one of the good manners that we can show. 

Quranic Reference: "And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace." [Quran 25:63

There is aslo sunnah about being a humble person. Sunnah: The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Whoever humbles himself for the sake of Allah, Allah will exalt him." [Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Hadith 6627]

Being kind to orphans

It is also one of the best action which people have to do. There is a hadith about being kind to orphans. This hadith was narrated by Anas ibn Malik

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The one who sponsors an orphan and I will be in Paradise like this,” and he gestured with his index and middle fingers 

Forgiving Others

This behaviour is also hard for some people, but we will try to forgive others. Sunnah: The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Be merciful to others, and you will receive mercy. Forgive others, and Allah will forgive you." [Musnad Ahmad, Hadith 7001]

Being Grateful

Being grateful actually can increase our good day, our life will be better if we are grateful for all the things that we have

There is an ayat about being grateful. Qur'anic Reference: "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]." [Quran 14:7]

There is also a hadith about being grateful: The Prophet (pbuh) said, "He who does not thank people, does not thank Allah." [Sunan Abi Dawood, Book 41, Hadith 4811]
